hyper-light-drifterMother of God! The floodgates have broken and the gaming drought is over. This week we’ve got GDC round-ups, Titanfall, Battlefield 4 – Naval Strike, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Infamous: Second Son, Hyper Light Drifter and Project Morpheus all coming at’cha.

Wait,

Now where was that eject button?

So what do we have on the cards for the next seven days? Well Saturday is The Trailer Park as always. Sunday the podcast focuses on the Game Developer’s Conference, with Sony throwing its hat into the Virtual Reality stakes with Project Morpheus announced. Gimmick or innovation? We’ll have to wait and see.

I go nuts over the imminent release of the latest Battlefield 4 expansion, Naval Strike and Josh drools all over Titanfall as we both drop our impressions. The podcast goes out live each Sunday live at 3.30pm AEDST. Be sure to tune in for the madness. I’ll also be adding to the Sunday lucky dip of posts with a look at an upcoming indie gem, Hyper Light Drifter.

Monday will be the podcast post in audio form and Tech Tuesday you’ll see Josh rollin’, rollin’, rollin’, rollin’, what? with the long overdue review of the Sphero 2.0 since I may never actually get around to doing it. I could even actually throw in my thoughts on Wolfenstein: The New Order instead of just teasing you with them. No foreplay this time, promise.

They see me rollin', they hatin'

We’re still going to be prettying up your desktop with the arresting double-tap of Wednesday’s Weekly Wallpaper, featuring Watch_Dogs and Josh has an indie surprise for Artsy-Fartsy on Thursday.

Be sure to let us know if there are any titles you’d like to see featured by sounding off in the comments below.
