Discussion: Games to finish over the holiday season

dishonoured

Everyone has an ever growing pile of shame games gathering dust as you cast one game aside and moved on to the next like the hussy you are. It’s time to admit your sins. Church is in session and it’s confession time. What will you be finishing during the break?

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone… Oh wait, I’m just as guilty as you are. I’ll go first.

Dishonored

I know, I know. How could I have not gone back to this game? I’m only two levels from the end and yet I can’t seem to find time to go back to it. There is a certain level of immersion you need to get to with this game and short bursts simply just don’t cut it. However, its time to put this sucker to bed. Soon my pet, soon.

Welcome to Earth!

XCOM :Enemy Unknown

This one is at the top of my shame list. I was powering through this with zero casualties when time got scarce and I dumped it off to the side for all of the new titles that came out. Well, this is a game that I must give the time to too, no excuses. It is super fun and painfully addictive. I can’t wait to get lost in it again.

So much happening, fun overload!

So much happening! Fun overload!

Borderlands 2

Since the  epic Borderlands 2 marathon for Child’s Play we hosted in September I’ve struggled to get into this. Thankfully my fiance (and life time co-op partner) and I have picked up Borderlands 2 on PC and are slowly building up to the end game. The Christmas break should give us ample opportunity to knock out this puppy. Time permitting of course.

OK peeps, it’s your turn now. We’ve all ignored games and now is the perfect time to get back to them.

What games are you going to revisit over Christmas?
