Screens: Excuse me while I kiss the Sky(rim) – screenapalooza

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was a breakthrough title for Bethesda Softworks. With over a hundred hours of gameplay it was known to destroy gamers, their lives and even contribute to divorce (though that might only be from personal experience). The creation of an immense world, a choice between third and first person perspective, countless missions, dungeons to explore, beasties to slay and deep customisable options made it an easy sell to even the most discerning gamer. Skyrim looks to take the mold and shatter it to pieces as we get a first glimpse at what’s on offer.

Dropping just a handful of screens is hardly cause for celebration, but in this case, we’ll make an exception. Get a gander below at this gorgeous looking title and set aside a solid month when it hits stores late this year.

Hard to go past a sexy Michael Bay shot as an opener…

Aziz… LIGHT!

Ice to see you. Yep, I went there.

I don’t get mad, I get stabby.

I will heal you my brothers!

Ok, terrible puns and captions aside, this is looking magnificent and I hope to be bringing you some new details in the coming weeks.

I’m visiting this site with interest in the writing and have near zero experience in gaming — except for playing a bit of first-person shooter on WII.

I’m gob smacked by the quality of the graphics shown above under post title ‘Screens: Excuse me while I kiss the Sky(rim) – screenapalooza
