Video: Kick-arse Deus Ex 3 trailer paints the right picture

It may not have any gameplay footage, but the brand-spanking new cinematic trailer should get your heart pumping…

If you’re a fan of the Deus Ex series then you’re probably waiting with baited breath to see if Deus Ex: Human Revolution, the long-time-coming third game, will turn out to be augmented awesomeness… I know I am. The good news is the recently released trailer (below) sets the right tone for the game — which will hopefully have a whole lot more information revealed at the ever-approaching E3– and kicks all kinds of arse from start to finish.

I am seriously looking forward to this game. Also, did you know that this trailer was made by the team that does the CG movies for Final Fantasy games?

I'm hoping that it can make me forget that I never finished (nor ever intend to finish) the second game. I wasn't aware that the trailer was made by the FF dudes… tres awesome.

Looks good… but so does every CG trailer.

Love this trailer. I just hope you're able to do these moves. I wanna punch through a wall and snap a guys neck :(

I did play and finish the 2nd one. I wish it never existed. It's kinda like Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. People say it's bad, but you think “Hey, it's Indiana Jones! It can't be bad!”…so you have to watch it no matter what. Poor Indy! T_T

I played both Deus Exs and loved them both. Yes, the second had more flaws than the first but it was still better than most RPGs and FPSs at that time. The third I wants but the SQUAREENIX tag does scare me a little. I dont want a Just cause style Deus Ex and I dont want a Final Fantasy style one either. Hopefully they have had no say in what goes into this game and they've let Eidos do their thing….. doubtful though

I recently bought the second one on Steam, but can't bring myself to try to play through it again… it really didn't come close to grabbing me like the original!

I like to believe that you will be able to do it… hopefully E3 will confirm this.

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull? Oh you mean that movie that they talked about making but never made, thank God. I can't imagine there ever being more than three Indiana Jones films.
