News: Sega Classics hit Steam!

Steam users got an awesome surprise yesterday morning when they opened their accounts to find SEGA had left them a present in the form of 11 classic SEGA titles to purchase and play, ranging from their more well known staples and even a few rarer titles that surprised even us.

So break out the cola, chips and sugar, invite over some friends and get ready for some awesome retro action!

Games maintain multiplayer capability with the added bonus of being able to play over Steam co-op style! All titles are also controller enabled for that old school feel…

Pack titles include:

  • Altered Beast
  • Comix Zone
  • Crack Down
  • Ecco the Dolphin
  • Gain Ground
  • Golden Axe
  • Shadow Dancer
  • Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master
  • Sonic 3D Blast
  • Space Harrier II
  • Vectorman

The total pack is worth 41.89USD but the titles can be purchased individually for 3.49USD each (with the exception of Sonic 3D Blast which is pricey at 6.99USD).

So PC fans.. are you going to grab these? Or is the price to high?

This is kinda lame. It's essentially all the same classics that they've already released as several different mega collections. When will they stop dining on the classics and start MAKING classics?

Agreed. Also I think $42 for those games is alot, don't forget you have to download them once you've purchases them and with Australian internet that takes ages.
